BirdHouse Photography Collective share a common interest in ‘photography’ interpreted in its widest sense.
The Collective are a group of creatives working with photography.
They share a goal to explore the creative possibilities of photography and story-telling from new perspectives, unrestrained by technology and current fashion they choose to experiment with both digital, analogue and camera less techniques.
They share the view that the method and process by which a photograph is made is integral but not a limitation.
The group was set up to give a collective platform for discussion and sharing of new work, ideas, skills as well as resources.
The collective aims to offer constructive criticism, and opportunities to develop and exhibit work both individually and collectively.
The collective aim is to give confidence and support for those starting out with the medium and a platform for experimentation and self expression, promoting photography as a Fine Art both locally and further afield.
